A LOVE THAT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD
John 17:23
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
How does God love you? He loves you as He loved Jesus. The same way. That’s too much to take in, isn’t it? That’s the reason the Apostle John said, (1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God:). He didn’t even know how to express it, so he just simply said, “Behold what manner of love.” That phrase manner of love means love from another, a foreign kind of love, unearthly love, nonhuman love. Behold what manner of love that we should be called the SONS of God!How does it affect you to remember God loves His children in the same way He loves Jesus?
